Blog Share-  Google Build 'Campus' Startup in South Korea. Giant digital advertising company in the world, Google opened the 'campus' first to support the start-up industry in Asia. Choosing Seoul, South Korea, as a location that could become a hub for a new generation of technology entrepreneurs (techno).

The campus is located precisely in the Gangnam area in Korea which is considered modern and often used as a base developer community startups.
The opening of the 'campus' was conducted by the President of Korea Selatang, Park Geun-Hye. Korea's first female president was indeed carrying the creative economy in government policy.

In that place, everyone can work and networking. In fact, Google also offers training and teaching that involves a team of Google experts and experienced entrepreneurs. They can also get access to other start-up community, both in Asia and around the world.

"We feel at the right point to create a start-up in Korea worldwide," said Google's head of operations Seou Campus, Jeffrey Lim, as quoted by Business Insider, Friday, May 8th, 2015.

Google considers when Korea was filled with a community of highly educated and hardworking. The country has also been named as one of the markets with fast broadband access and high smartphone penetration. Unfortunately, although called a successful startup market, Korea is less able to make their products worldwide.

In the establishment of startup, Korea also hindered human resources that are often still overshadowed tradition. According to Lim, the toughest challenge for the pioneers are their own parents.

"Graduated in Korea have a strong interest to create their own startups. However, parents often pressure them to find a job in a company that is stable. Working at Samsung, or LG is a high standard to determine that the parent has successfully raise their children," said Lim.

On the other hand, the Korean government previously less attention startup industry. But now the power Geun-Hye is committed to disburse US $ 3 billion to finance the startup in the next three years.

Google menggratiskan membership on this campus and provide rental accommodation at a cheap price. If there is a start-up on this campus who have 'finished', Google also promised not to ask in return stock. However, it is possible if Google would glance at start-up is believed to be the next Twitter and Uber.
