Indonesia Wins Most Gold Research Competition

Blog Share-  Indonesia Wins Most Gold Research Competition. Delegation of Indonesia won the most gold in the international research competition, Third International Science Project Olympiad, organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture in Jakarta on May 4 to 8, 2015. As host, Indonesia won four gold, three silver, and two bronze.

Ranked second in the race was occupied by Bosnia and Herzegovina and Tajikistan. Both countries have received the serial number of medals, a gold medal, two silver and a bronze.

Participants of this competition was increased to 29 countries from 22 countries last year. Suharlan say, in fact there are 39 countries that were initially enrolled in this activity. "But teams from 10 countries have difficulties in terms of visas," said Suharlan.

Suharlan hope this activity can provide encouragement to the other high school students to continue to be creative in terms of researching. "Hopefully, this activity can stimulate research for high school students," he said.

Directorate General of Secondary Education Ministry of Education and Culture of Ahmad Jazidie in his speech hoped this competition could provide valuable experience and a provision in the face of world development. He also hoped the potential for innovation exhibited in this event can be communicated with the business world, so it has a future to grow and develop.
