Blog Share- Unique Robot Made in Japan Can Be Invited Talk. Japanese company, NEC NEC organized an event titled Innovative Solutions Fairs 2015 in one of the hotel Tuesday or February 10, 2015. In the event, NEC exhibiting innovative solutions and technologies for communities and businesses.

NEC solutions shown includes sophisticated face recognition technology, disaster management and recovery, analysis of big data, cyber security, energy management several other technologies. In addition to technology for a solution community, there are also other technologies, the robot PaPeRo.

Robot that has two colors, white and orange is a robot that can respond to what you say. However, it should be in Japanese. Some Japanese were able to respond by this PaPeRo is Ohayo (halo), Konnichiwa (hello), Dansu shite (dancing), Namae wa (what is your name?), Ima nan ji (now the time?) And some other basic Japanese.

The response given by the robot is also varied, like when you say kawaii (cute you) at the time of his ears light up, then the robot will respond with flushed cheeks, whereas when spoken pozu tot te (let's pose), this robot will give voice and move like a person who is posing in front of the camera. Besides being able to respond to the talks, this robot also features PaPe-Touch that lets you can see the reaction of the robot when held and rubbed.

Unfortunately, Papero displayed in the exhibition is the first version of the robot PaPeRo, while the second version which allows can respond more speech is not exhibited in the event.
